COLETTE & LOLA | CAKES & DREAMS

Isamaya Group which is one of the successful Food & Beverage Company in Indonesia has created new concept called "COLETTE & LOLA".

COLETTE & LOLA has became "hot topic" for most of teenagers in Jakarta in this past several months. They well known for their cakes creation . .

At first, I have trouble to find the place since I'm not living in this city. But, My friend and I can spot this cakes shop in the end (We pass this cakes shop several times without realizing it) :D

I Think, the interior design is quite unique and creative. .

My friend and I order some of their cakes : Rainbow, Little Black Bird, Call Me Panda and You See Green.
Well . .when I visit this shop, it is full of people although in the mid of weekdays.
(*correction: Not full of people, instead full of teenage girls who come in groups, order 1-2 cakes and takes the photos with their cellphone in countless time hahahaha)

I recommend their Panda and See Green for those who loves Dark Chocolate Mouse and Green Tea.

Overall: Their taste is Good enough. The Idea of creation and texture is quite similar with Canele Patisserie - Singapore

Location: Jl. Senopati Raya No. 64

Strawberry Jelly Mouse with Oreo Base

This recipe inspired from Sorted , I modify the recipes according to what I have in my kitchen :D

Ingredients:

  • 1 sachet of Jelly Pack ( I use Nutrijell)
  • About 8 -10pcs of Oreo
  • 250ml of Plain Thick Yogurt
  • 120g of Strawberry
  • 1/2tbsp of Gelatine
  • 1/2 of lime juice
  • About 1tbsp of Margarine or Butter
Method:
  1. Blend the oreos cookies in the food processor with the melted margarine, divide into the cup and let it cool in the fridge.
  2. Blend the strawberry, lime juice, gelatine, 3-4tbsp of cold water and sugar in the food processor.
  3. Pour the strawberry puree slowly and mix well with the yogurt until you get the correct consistency and taste that you like (don't make it to watery or the yogurt mixture will not set)
  4. Make a jelly as the suggestion serving in the pack (I reduce the water for about 1/3 cup from the suggestion to make the texture of jelly a little bit hard) and let it cool.
  5. Pour the jelly in top of strawberry mixture and put it in the fridge until set.
