Bambo Basket - Brisbane (Chinese Cuisine)

One of first restaurant that I visit in Brisbane in this short trip is Bambo Basket at South Bank. You can find this restaurant quiet easy because it is big and near the Southbank Cinema :D

Since I'm not sure which one I should order between Crispy prawns with mayo or floss. I ordered both of them! Left pict is Crispy prawns with mayo, the taste is sweet as hell and I like the one with fire floss (pict on the right side). It's more crunchy and not to sweet. . .

 Next, I ordered Prawn Dumplings, I just curious the taste and color of the sauce is really bright. . I'm wondering is that really a pure tomato sauce or they put some food coloring >.< because chinese is well known of their duck! I order Crispy Duck (small portion).

 Furthermore, Chinese also famous for their tofu dishes, so I order Ma Po Tofu. I'm not quiet sure about it but I taste pork mince inside and the tofu is really soft. It is similar with Japanase egg tofu if you ever try it.
Last batch! I don't know what is wrong with my stomach because I feel hungry and I ordered my last dishes: Braised Duck!

As usual for drink, I only ordered tea or hot water :D

Recommended dish: Braised Duck, Crispy Duck, Mapo Tofu and Prawn Dumplings w/ Tomato sauce!

Jakarta - Brisbane for Graduation Ceremony

Hello again!

I'm back to Indonesia in about a week ago, I can't post anything in blog due to busy schedule.
*honestly, I'm a lazy person >.<"

So, Here is the short story about my trip to Brisbane for Graduation Ceremony.

I have flight with Singapore Airlines from Jakarta - Singapore (11 December 2012, 21.00PM) if I'm correct.

Since I traveled in around Christmas day, the Singapore Airlines adding Christmas decoration in their flight :D

I also order Seafood meal with apple apple and banana crumble as dessert for flight from JKT - SG.

On the other hand, I just ordered fruit platter for flight SG - BNE because it is over midnight already and I can't eat much. I prefer sleep! haha

Finally I arrived in Brisbane at around 11.00 AM of 12th December.

To make it short, I participate in my graduation ceremony on 14th December ;p

Of course I eat a lootttttt of foods in there and I will post it in no time. .  just wait and see :D

Packing for Flight to Brisbane

Dear to whoever is reading this blog . .

I just finished packing all of my stuff for flight to Brisbane - Australia and participate in graduation ceremony on 14th December 2012! :D

I haven't went to Brisbane in a year and I'm kinda exciting because I have a good memory with this city!

I miss how we can enjoy the city light at the night from south bank

I miss how good street performer in there!

I miss the City Cat! We can use small ferry to go from University of Queensland to CBD.
The price is almost same as a bus and we can enjoy the Brisbane View!!! :D

This is also the place where I do my jogging outside the gym for the first time with nike+!

And for the last! I really miss their delicious foods!!!
Some of restaurants in Brisbane is an award winning and top 50 best restaurant in Asia.
Without a doubt, you need to spend more money in that kind of restaurant hahaha
There are also restaurants that is not to expensive, but give a good presentation and taste on foods.

Really can't wait to arrived in Brisbane! :D
